Ok ok...maybe i went a little bit too far but you get the point.

If you didn't know, Marvel did a collab with Madhouse, an anime company from Japan to re-create some of Marvel's cartoons for the Japanese audience. In the lists are Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men and Blade, yea, Wesley Snipes, vampires, etc.

This is the first one to air on Animax Japan and G4 USA from 1 Oct 2010 to 17 Dec 2010. Yea, it's quite recent.


Wolverine
This is the second one which will air on 7 Jan 2011.


Trailers for X-Men and Blade have yet to release and I've not watched either of the animes above yet. Furthermore, this isn't the first American comic to be anime-ized, the first one I knew before these was Witchblade way back in 2006.

TGS (Tokyo Game Show) much like the E3 of the US held in Japan every year showcasing new and upcoming games had just started yesterday.

Personally, I've not been keeping up with the news but I heard that the first 2 game companies to start the show yesterday was Capcom and EA. And Capcom has 2 new games to show;

A must-have game if you own a Wii,
or rather,
a damn good reason to get a Wii.

Made by the guys who did Ninja Gaiden, Team Ninja,
this is seriously one of the best looking and most unique game for a Wii and possibly all next gen consoles so far.

This live action commercial is also pretty cool, and the girl playing Samus Aran, the main character, is rather hawt~ :P
The funny thing is, in the first ever 8-bit Metroid game, you won't know that Samus is a female until you finish the game. Though you can't tell that it's a she just by looking at her coz she's made up of only a few pixels. LOL

Not really a fan of big cars but this one's simply just love at first sight...*melts*
With only 2 door (not including the back hatch) it's like an SUV/Sports coupe hybrid
and that's my dear Watson is fukken sexeh~
Gawd daymn even the name is sexeh, Evoque, rawr
I absolutely love the design and the interior is simply just wow!
The dashboard looks like something you'd only find in a TRON movie.
Everything bout the Evoque is what you'd expect to see in a concept car and concept cars only appear once in motor shows but NOT this one.
It'll be out next year.

Just make the front grill a little bit bigger like the Audi R8 or Chrysler 300c or and it's perfecto~





Currently Range Rovers are freakkkkkkkin expensive.
The Range Rover Sport TDV8 3.6 cost a jaw dropping $132k @ QAF!!
And it's not even as half sexy looking as the Evoque! meh :P




I'd rather save up a bit more and get a GTR with that kinda price...
But of course, it has the best performance in all the Land Rovers so far.
With a v6 turbo diesel engine, satellite navigation and the best Brit technology all dumped in, you can't complain.

However, other models like the Freelander on the other hand cost less the price @ only $50+
I just hope that the price of Evoque is reasonable when it's out coz it IS also after all a Range Rover *gulp*...

The guys over at the University of Alabama and Massachusetts teamed up and build what they call a PS3 Gravity Grid which uses 16 PS3s at the cost of $6000. "Its a whole lot more cheaper than renting supercomputers that cost $5000 per simulation", says a professor. I think I know where to go for scholarship now.

I was wondering why the Wolverine movie didn't picked up much buzz when it was out last year. I'd just knew this and well it seems a DVD quality copy of the movie was leaked and uploaded into the internet a whole month before the premier and it was downloaded more than 4.5 million times by the time the movie was playing in the theaters. But still, the movie was quite successful. I think Wolverine has the hardest boner in the world, he could very well be the next Ron Jeremy if he goes into the pr0n industry.

If you own an old phat PS3 you'd probably knew bout this already.

problem:
It started on the 28th February 2010 when
phat PS3s are effing up all around the world.
What happens is when you start up a game
you'll get an 8001050F error
this is usually associated with online games
but some offline games are also reported to be affected as well
then after a while the PS3 will tell you there's issues with the trophies and it needs to exit
trophies and game saves WILL BE corrupted!!!
and also you can't sign to PSN

a pissed off PS3 gamer


cause:
apparently the problem was caused by the reset of the PS3's internal clock
and not PSN coz PS3 slims are working just fine

solution:
Sony could PROBABLY fix this with a new firmware update
but that's not possible since you can't go online with your now effed up PS3
fixing it with a file from an external drive COULD be possible...
but that's a very big COULD
or worse comes to worse
Sony could recall back all the phat PS3s in the world like what Toyota did with their vehicles
to date, Sony had sold about 24 million phat PS3s worldwide



though Sony tweeted that they're working on resolving the problem
i say its pretty much the end
basically the machine's completely useless now
so if you own one, you might as well give it to me
im in need of a grill :D



Basketball Stars get's custom gaming rig

2K games, the company that makes all the big sports games e.g. NBA, NHL, NFL etc, has been giving out portable xBox 360s to big names from NBA e.g Kobe Bryant and Chris Paul. The console is included inside a suitcase along with controllers, and LCD screen, remote controls and headphones. I would sure like to see a red ring of death on these babies.



Aside from xBoxes, Sony has also been giving away custom PSPgos to the playaz.

Prince of Persia one of the upcoming films to join the bandwagon of video games adaptations films.
There's been a lot of video games to movie films to date,
but most of them sucked ass (which are usually made by Uwe Boll eg. Blood Rayne)
and only a few proved worthy to be called a true v.g. adapted film.

Among other video games that are going to be made into films are:

• World of Warcraft (directed by Sam Raimi, director of Spider Man movies)
• Monopoly (yes, not kidding, Hasbro with Universal Studios)
• Metal Gear Solid (scrapped! after 2 years since its first announcement, on Jan 25, 2010, producer Micheal de Luca said "a movie will only hurt the video game franchise", good thing he knew the movie he's gonna make will suck and stopped before its too late)
• Halo (uncertain, coz the guys who were supposed to be making this movie, Peter Jackson and Neil Blomkamp went and made District 9 instead)
• Heavy Rain (this is the most recent one, New Line Cinema will be doing it)
  
• The Sims (i think this is crazy coz in the game, the characters just do everyday things, unless the made the movie into something like this)

If im not mistaken i think Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li was the most recent v.game to film to be released and it sucked. Hopefully Prince of Persia won't be such a let down since it'll be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, same guy who produced Pirates of the Caribbean movies.

So in conclusion, i think the hardware itself is rather satisfying
with a few exceptions e.g. no camera
while the software is where the iPad is not pushing the limits and thinking out of the box enough
but since its just the software
Apple could perhaps launch a new updated firmware in the future that could prove to be more satisfy.
