MH3 will have fewer weapons than in MH: Unite D: They took out the gunlance, dual sword, hunting horn and teh BOW!! Oh just when i was just gettin to love teh BoW~ T__T but they added a new weapon type, the Slash/Switch Axe from what i can tell, its a cross between a Great Sword, Long Sword and Gunlance!! Which i think is gonna be my new favourite weapon~~ That's right, reload that muthaff-f-f! xD

I loved the first installment, even if i've notplayed it >__> This upcoming sequel just looks even better! The setting takes places several years after the first in the same planet and the ice and snow has melted away so you'll be seeing new terrains such as forests :D
Also Lost Planet 2 won't have a protagonist unlike the first as you'll be playing as one of the regular snow pirates. Not sure if they should still be called snow pirates tho haha
Furthermore, a very nice upgrade from the first installment is the co-op feature of up to 4 players! If you watch the 2nd video below(recommend watching in glorious HD) it has a sort of Monster Hunter feel to it *O* I hope it makes its way to the PSP sometime in the future x3
